Fun, smiles and love of dance are the ingredients for these master classes in ballet. As a teacher, Joanna is renowned for her gentle approach, and credits her success to the simple principle of sharing her love of fine dance. Joanna was the founding Director of the Sydney Regional Ballet School and Performance Company, was a Principal Dancer in Australia at the age of 16, and she has won over 200 ballet competitions. This free speaker series meets for lunch on selected Fridays. Bring a lunch to enjoy from 12:30 to 1 pm; hear the speaker from 1 to 2 pm. Coffee and tea are available for a .50 donation. Ask for a brochure.

 


 
Concrete Casting Classes

Cast your own concrete stone creations for a unique and whimsical addition to your wall, garden or patio. Start by choosing a design, then mix the ingredients and pour into your mold; it's easy and fun! During the second class, you will release your creation from the mold and finish off the edges. Your hanging or statuary will make a great gift for yourself or someone else. All classes include materials, instruction, and information on the care and history of your piece.

  25) Dog Training Classes: Buddies -- Training Basics  (Dogs 6 months & older)
This dog training basics class provides positive training methods, good management practices and problem solving. Children under 14 must be with an adult. The first week is mandatory and dogs DO NOT ATTEND. Vaccinations must be up-to-date. Classes are held outside, weather permitting. (7 classes)

Begin learning the entire 108-movement Yang Family Tai Chi long form in this advanced class. To enroll, a thorough understanding of and skill level from the Chi Kung class (Beginner and Intermediate levels), and at least 1 full calendar year's dedication to applying this art form are necessary.
