Beginner / Refresher Yoga

If you’ve been wanting to try Yoga or have some experience and would like a refresher, this is the class for you.  We will explore the foundational postures, breathing practices, and meditative techniques as well as posture modifications for when you need more or less challenge.  Kripalu Yoga emphasizes safety, compassion, introspection, and building postures “from the ground up” so participants can learn the principles of Hatha Yoga in a safe, effective, and fulfilling way.  Wear comfortable clothing and bring a Yoga mat and blanket. Fee: $60/ $55 for residents of Brimfield, Holland, Wales & Sturbridge

Instructor: Sharon Palmer, M.Ed., certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through The Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.
