This Italianate 1855 Academy is available to rent for private parties. This smoke and alcohol free
atmosphere has a variety of room choices, folding tables and chairs, access to a refrigerator,
stove and sinks. The first floor is wheelchair accessible.
Room Rental is $25.00 per hour - Please allow yourself time for setup within your scheduled hours.
Due to our court decree no political or religious meetings are allowed in our facility.
ROOMS AVAILABLE AND DESCRIPTIONS
| The lower auditorium (LA) is accessible on and can seat up to 50 people at tables. A mini stage area
(2 steps) works well for highlighting a guest of honor. |
| The lower west (LW) is accessible and can seat approximately 30 people. |
| The large upper auditorium (UA) is on the second floor and is well suited to more active gatherings,
a dance, a child’s birthday party, etc. Up to 125 people can be seated theater style. Preschool age toys
are available for use for free. |
| Located off the upper auditorium the upper west (UW) room is a perfect place for pizza or cake for a
party using the upper auditorium or for a smaller gathering. |
Decorating Rooms – Decorations are allowed, but please use painter’s tape to protect the plaster walls.
All decorations must be removed before you leave.
Tables & Chairs – Folding chairs, 6 foot folding tables and 36” square card tables are available to
arrange in whatever setup you wish.
If you are planning on having an event at the Academy, please print off, fill out and submit the
HFA Room Use Request Form to the Academy office.
