A) Pruning Basics -As the winter season draws to a close, the snow begins to melt and the temperatures begin to slowly rise; we garden enthusiasts breath a collective sigh of relief and become filled with gardening excitement.  It is time to pick up your pruning tools and head out into the landscape to begin your dormant season pruning tasks.  Join a horticulturist and  pruning specialist exploring the fundamentals of pruning woody plants.  Topics will include pruning timeline, basic pruning methods and techniques, tool selection and a closer look at common shrubs that benefit from yearly pruning such as Hydrangeas and Roses (1 class)

B) Prep for Veggie Garden Success: Tight on gardening space or maybe your soil isn't ideal but you still want to grow your own vegetables this year?  We have the solution for you….join us to learn the benefits, construction methods and care of raised bed gardening.  We will also cover the basics of veggie gardening from planting time, rotation, companion planting & organic pest control to maximize your gardening success. (1 class)
