Art Week Ma is April 26 - May 5. Hitchcock is joining in the fun with the programs listed below!

Belly Full of Art

Hitchcock will host an event on Monday, April 29 6-7 PM to paint cloth grocery bags with original art work and then have participants bring nonperishable food items to put in the bags. All will be delivered to the Food Pantry to distribute bags and food items. This would be a community cooperative project including the Art Group at Hitchcock, Scouts, and the Food Pantry. Participants would each bring a food item and a free will donation for supplies.

Create Sea Turtles ( Ages 8-14)

MA saw a lot of dying sea turtles this year, Kids an help when they create a ceramic sea turtle and raise funds for www.conserveturtles.org. A go Fund me page will be set up and students’ work will be posted so when students share their art, they will raise awareness, as well as funds, to save sea turtles. We ask students to share their art on their own social media platform to raise funds. $30
